The fourth quarter of 2021 witnessed interesting trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Sweden. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance metrics of Bolt: Request a Ride, Uber - Request a ride, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, Careem – rides, food & more, and Lyft.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at 7.3K in early October and dipping to around 3.8K by mid-December, before climbing back to 8.3K in the final week of December. Active users varied throughout the quarter, peaking at 53.6K in late October and dropping to 36.9K by mid-December.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 8.1K in the final week of December. Active users also saw a significant rise, starting at 122K in late September and reaching 151K by the end of the year.

For Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 167 and 246 throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase from 4.3K in late September to 4.5K by the end of December.

Careem – rides, food & more had a modest number of weekly downloads, starting at 27 in late September and reaching 279 in the last week of December. Active users also saw a gradual increase, from 492 in late September to 1.1K by the end of December.

Lyft showed varying weekly downloads, with a significant spike to 231 in the last week of December. Active users were relatively stable, with a noticeable increase from 2.3K in late September to 3.4K by the end of the year.
